August 2014 Favorites

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. In this blog post I am going to talk about my favorites for this month. Some should be self explanatory but I will give a review about what I like or dislike so you can get an idea if you are wanting to purchase any of these products in the near future.

If I am able to find the link for a certain product, I will add that below the picture.

This actually works very well. This product doesn't even make your lips or eyes feel like you have been scrubbing at them.
Click this link here for this product if you wish to find out more.

This product is amazing. This is so amazing that I feel like I don't have to constantly reapply lotion after a few hours. This is perfect for dry skin.

I wanted to try this for so long now because I've heard a lot of good things about Benefit. It does work, my pores are really bad so I tend to use this on my whole face instead of the suggested areas. It does have a faint perfume smell but it is tolerable.

This eye concealer has been my absolute favorite. It does not even look like you are wearing concealer. Just make sure you get the correct color.

Does anyone else have bad circles that look similar to a black eye? I tend to have bad, really bad circles especially around or after allergy season. This is my current best friend that is if you can have make up as a best friend. When you apply this product, you will start to feel it working almost immediately. I'd suggest applying this on before going to bed. I feel that is when it works best for me. Plus, if you apply it during the day, it may leave your skin looking oily.

What can I say about this product? It feels as if you are not wearing any eye shadow but you are. I'd recommend this too anyone in a heartbeat.

For this product, if you have to leave it on your face for about ten minutes or so and then peal off. This mask is probably the best I've used in a long while. Highly recommend it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you enjoyed reading this, let me know. Also let me know if you'd like to see something like this again. If you do purchase any of these recommended products or if you'd like to suggest a product for me to try do not hesitate to do so, I'm up for any suggestions as long as they are not harmful or crude of course!
Until next time! Bye <3

Ingleside Village Pizza Review

A weekend or so ago, I went on a double date here. Yes, I have been here before on other certain occasions but now I would just like to take a moment and show how much I really enjoy this place. This particular one is located on Ingleside Avenue in Macon, Georgia. There are other Ingleside Village Pizza's but I do not know exactly where they are located. This is just one I have always gone to. First off, I wanted to start off with the vibe, the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's not your typical sit down restaurant. It is very, very, casual but the staff is very professional. They do have an outside area but it is crucial that you let them know you are sitting outside after ordering your food because they won't know if you are outside. Here are a few pictures to just give an idea.

They have a lot of oddities, something's being vintage other things just being completely random but interesting.

Pineapple pizza. Yes, you can order single slices. They also have sloppy bread sticks which I suggest trying. The bread sticks are smothered in garlic butter, topped with shredded parmesan cheese, and pizza sauce on the side. For just a dollar extra, ask for the sloppy.

Overall scores (5 being outstanding)

Dinning experience 5/5

Service 5/5

Expectations 5/5

Atmosphere 5/5

Let me know in the comments what y'all thought about this post. If you have any questions just ask and I shall answer them. Until next time <3

Matt's Tex-Mex Review

Just last night, I went to this restaurant called Matt's. It's purely a Tex-Mex restaurant. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures of this place but I can tell you that I really enjoyed eating here since I can't get authentic Tex-Mex back in Georgia.

Here is the front of the restaurant.

The prices where pretty average as well for a dine in restaurant.

This is just a little sneak peak at the menu.

This dish is called the Tex-Mex burrito dinner. Very good but such a large portion! I was even surprised that the cheese wasn't white cheese because that's what is served in Georgia.

Overall scores (5 being outstanding):

Service 4/5

Dinning experience 5/5

Expectations 5/5

Food 5/5

Atmosphere  4/5

Will I go back again? Yes, I'd go back again and try out different foods and drinks. The salsa for the chips was even good! The salsa did have a little kick but the spice was not so overwhelming to where you just couldn't eat it anymore. I'm particular about certain spices because of my low tolerance that could have been my whole dinner if I hadn't had stopped eating salsa.

That's pretty much it! Enjoyed this post? Let me know in the comments down below.

Adventures in Texas Part Two

Friday evening was when I arrived in Texas with a few family members. No we didn't fly we drove. Which took about eleven hours but the drive went by really quickly, despite being stuck in the car for that period of time. How am I getting back home? I brought a one-way ticket through Southwest that will get me back to Hotlanta (Atlanta).

During my stay, this is what I have been up to!

That feeling you get when you cross this state line! Proud to be a born and raised Texan!

This was a guacamole burger. Very good! Found this on a menu at a restaurant called the Green Pickle.

Took a picture of this lovely deer in Glen Rose at the Wildlife Center. Very fun for all ages!

Another picture I took while I touring around the Wildlife Center.

My cousin and I saw this toad or frog and it was huge! Her hand helps with size comparison.

Before we left Glen Rose, we went to this boutique shop that had a restaurant, sadly I currently can't remember the name of this restaurant! But they served brunch and the food and service was very good! If I was forced to give a name of this place, I would go with Christina's Boutique.

Other than that, I would have loved to stay more than a day in Glen Rose and you would have had to stay more than a day if you wanted to go to Dinosaur Land. Yes, they have a Dinosaur Land not just a Wildlife Center!

If you enjoyed this post let me know in the comments below! Maybe I can pull up a part three? Who knows? Any type of criticism and encouragement is welcomed, so don't be shy! See y'all next time.

Adventures in Texas Part One

Hello, everyone! Thank you to those who read my previous post. In this particular post, I just wanted to take a few minutes to brag about something's I've found during my stay in Texas and what I've been up to! Hope you guys enjoy! This first part will just be based on a few things I've found during my stay in Glen Rose, Texas but the Virgo ring and the wallet I found was from Charming Charlie's (not in Glen Rose).

Purchased this Virgo ring from Charming Charlies around 10$. They did have different signs and they also had these in a bracelet and necklace style. I did look for the necklace one but they did not have my zodiac and since I don't care too much for bracelets, I went for the ring.

This kimono I got from a antique/boutique shop for about 36$.

From Charming Charlie's about 15$.

On sale for 20$ (don't remember the original price) from a boutique shop in Glen Rose.

I did purchase a few other things but I felt that those wouldn't be as interesting to share. These are a few things I thought would be worth sharing due to how cute these above items are. Leave a comment if you found this blog interesting or if you would like similar blogs in the near future. Thanks love you guys!

July Empties

Women's VitaCraves Gummies
Hello again! In this post I just wanted to show what I've recently finished off. It's not a whole bunch of items I am going to just list off because I am still working through one of the items but here are just a few things that I am willing to share with y'all.

This first item is Women's VitaCraves Gummies. I do not know how long I've been using these but I take at least two a day and I haven't stopped. When I take these, I feel so much better and I feel like I can just go on about my day. Normally, I would take these in the mornings after I've had some breakfast to avoid an upset stomach. These gummies have Vitamin A, C, D, E B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Biotin (helps strengthen nails and helps with hair), Calcium, Iodine, and Zinc. Disclaimer: Do not take a whole lot of these because you can overdose on vitamins!

Boots No. 7 Restore & Renew
This second item, I couldn't get enough of. Even though it's summer now, I wouldn't recommend using this because it's such a heavy night cream. Though I do occasionally use this if my skin feels too dry or if I just used a strong face mask. It's called Boots No. 7 Restore & Renew here are a few pictures so you can just get an idea. And yes a little goes a long way. I think I had this for more than six months and I still have a little left to use up.

Divergent
The last thing I want to talk about is not health or beauty related. This series is called Divergent. It may be old news but I just recently finished this series. Oh my gosh, it may be my favorite series of this year next to the Walking Dead. I didn't think I would love this series but as soon as I finished the first book I became obsessed! And on the 8th, Veronica Roth just came out with another book called Four which is in Four's point of view (a main character from the Divergent series). I don't want to give away a whole lot of details because I may say something I shouldn't and ruin it for those who have not read this amazing series yet.

Well, that's pretty much it! Let me know what you guys think or what I should for my next blog! See you guy next time! Bye!

Choose A Language to Learn

July 10th, 2014

This was something I asked my Facebook friends. If you could pick one language to learn which language would that be? It can be anything. You don't have to go into detail why. I'm just curious to see what others would choose. Can't wait to read y'all's answers!

Welcome!

July 9th, 2014

This blog is just going to be a hobby. Basically, what I am wanting to do with this blog is to post whatever comes to mind such as monthly favorites, a how to, or just something totally random. Updates depends on my schedule (not that I am always extremely busy). This is something I've been wanting to do for awhile now but I just haven't had the desire, the inspiration to actually post a blog. Yes, my first blog post is kind of lame but my first one is sort of an introductory of shorts. Yes, a few more post may be similar to this one (hopefully not as boring). Though I thank you for reading what I currently have posted. Within the next few days or weeks, I hope to have more posted. Any type of comments are welcomed unless I deem them to be too offending or harmful.

Until next time!
